Will I be sharing equipment during my reservation?

Nope! When you book time in one of our kitchens you will have exclusive use to the equipment in that space. 

Do I need a business license? 

Yes, you will need a business license. If you use our San Marcos kitchen you’ll need to register for a San Marcos business license. If you use our Vista kitchen, you’ll just check with the city you live in for business license requirements. 

Will I need a health permit to operate out of Sae Kitchen? 

Yes. Our kitchens are licensed, however each company will need their own permit to legally serve food to the public. Which permit(s) you need will depend on your specific business operation. 

Do you offer co-packing services?
At this time we are not taking on co-packing projects. 

Do you offer short term rental? 

Yes. You will need to provide a valid health permit and current liability insurance. Click here for the Occasional Use Application to get started. 

Do you have a space for cooking classes? 

Not currently, but follow us on insta to see what we have in the works! 

Can I film/be filmed at Sae Kitchen? 

Yes, go for it! Please note, our kitchens are not fully private and we cannot guarantee quiet conditions during video shoots. 

Do you have a commercial dishwasher? 

No, we do not have a dishwasher. All of our kitchens have access to 3 compartment sinks. 

Do you offer peak or off-peak hourly rates? 

No, our kitchens are available to book 24/7/365 and the pricing for our spaces depends on which monthly plan you are on, not a peak or off-peak rate. 

Do you provide small appliances, pots, knives, etc? 

We do not. Each kitchen comes with a speed rack with a dozen sheet pans, but other than that each client keeps their own equipment on their dry storage rack. 

Can I store large equipment at Sae kitchen? 

We are able to store large equipment (smokers, ice cream makers, sheeters, etc) at our Vista kitchen (subject to availability). A monthly fee will be determined based on space and power usage. 

Do you offer dry and cold storage? 

Yes, we have cold and dry storage available to rent for monthly clients. If you are not a monthly client, please feel free to inquire about storage availability.
